Beursschouwburg artist Mc Pherson organises mini festival
Zoë Mc Pherson
Zoë Mc Pherson’s roots are in France and Northern Ireland, but she is now based in Brussels.
The Beursschouwburg, where she is an associated artist, has invited her to introduce audiences to her anthropological approach to electronic music during Two Days of Indigenous Music, in which ethnic music and field recordings are blended with beats. Day one features the live première of the transmedia project String Figures, and on day two Mc Pherson will curate her own mini festival with performances, concerts, and an exhibition.
