Meyboom: 'A poepedroeger gives those giants a soul'

Those who follow the Meyboom parade, can't miss them: eight giant puppets traditionally accompany the ritual on August 9. The puppets are carried by Brussels 'poepedroegers' ('puppet carriers'), who dance with their giants troughout the parade. BRUZZ followed the poepedroegers during their preparations, early on Tuesday morning.
