Sunday as a shopping day is not a success. Since May, all stores in the Brussels Pentagon were open on the first Sunday of the month, but three months later, many stores don't want to take part anymore. It's very costly and the figures haven't increased enough, says Unizo, the Union of independent workers. Unizo thinks the city should have put more thought into their strategy of Sunday Shopping Day.
