Travel around the world for the price of a cinema ticket? It is possible. Even in the second half of the second decade of the 21st century, cinema can still be a voyage of discovery to unknown, quasi-inaccessible earthly paradises and introduce you to the people who live there.

The semi-anthropological film Tanna is named after a volcanic island that is part of the Republic of Vanuatu, an island group in the Pacific Ocean. Many Yakel people still consciously live there according to ancient customs and laws. They prefer penis gourds and straw coats to Armani jeans. A Romeo and Juliet intrigue is the perfect occasion for you to discover their culture. The cinematography of the stunning nature that takes on diverse forms is breath-takingly beautiful. Have a good trip!
