On 24 March, Brussels will gain another cultural hotspot, and a colourful one for that matter. At the Henegouwenkaai/quai du Hainaut in Molenbeek, the MIMA – short for Millennium Iconoclast Museum of Art – will occupy 1,000 m2 for the so-called 2.0-culture. For a brilliant sample of this contemporary, interdisciplinary, urban culture, the MIMA is bringing four New York artists and collaborations across the Atlantic. Maya Hayuk, Swoon, MOMO, and Faile will turn on the “City Lights” until the end of August. Time to break your preconceptions!
