A documentary that follows Nick Cave during the recording of the albums Ghosteen and Carnage, a Polish drama about a true political murder and an Oscar-nominated feel-good film about a teacher in the Australian outback: these are the new films we recommend this week.

FILM OF THE WEEK/ This Much I Know to Be True ****

Enough music to watch with your eyes closed. Enough cinema to listen to with your ears closed. This Much I Know to Be True is almost as good and intimate as the previous film about Nick Cave, One More Time with Feeling, and that is a real compliment. Read more
