Lights for Rights demonstration in Brussels
More than 600 people gathered at the Place de la Monnaie in Brussels at sundown on Friday to stand up for the rights of people they say are threatened by a Trump presidency. Timed to coincide with Donald Trump’s inauguration, the Lights for Rights demo featured speeches, music, the lighting of candles and a minute’s silence and was one of 600 organised in 60 countries around the world this weekend. Our reporter Hannah Haynes was there.
