This year, for the first time, the Nuit Blanche, Brussels' all night art and performance extravaganza, will take place outside the pentagon in the European Quarter on 1 October. The theme Borders will be interpreted both seriously and amusingly in 28 different installations and performances. Design September Brussels - Taste of Prague

Professor Michael Fronek, architect and designer, curated the show and tells us how ancient Czech glass producing methods have been allied with modern technology to create new looks.

Voir et Dire: Discover Brussels in Your Language
For over 22 years Voir et Dire has been providing the public with multiple opportunities to discover the rich architectural heritage of Brussels in four languages for over twenty-two years. In fact the focus has been widened. Director Julien Staszinski tells us "Beyond architecture, we also have tours on the history of Brussels, green spaces, gastronomy and life style; you can participate on foot of course, but bicycle and coach tours are also available." And the Art Nouveau Art Deco Biennial has now become a festival.
