Irish set dancing in Brussels
The Irish Club of Brussels, and most of the Irish diaspora, hold their national identity close to their hearts and this is why every Thursday evening at 18.30 at 1 Rue Montoyer in the EU district, you can participate in one of Ireland’s most loved traditions, set dancing. Set dancing is a traditional folk dance from Ireland that involves groups of four or eight dancers dancing one of the hundreds of sets danced throughout Ireland. We meet Ronan Healy, "set caller" for the Irish Club of Brussels.

Laurier Fourniau: Low Notes
Laurier Fourniau is a French film director, writer and editor based in Brussels whose first feature film Low Notes is a Belgian movie shot entirely in English in Los Angeles. Fourniau has managed a coup: a movie with excellent production values made with a practically non existent budget. How did he accomplish this? Richard Harris finds out.

Belgian Academy of Culture and History
Would you like to learn more about Belgium and its rich history? The Belgian Academy of Culture and History organises classes at Muntpunt in Brussels. Historian Mirella Marini believes that by enhancing our historical knowledge of the country we call home, we can improve our cultural well-being.
