Just two months ago, he launched BarBeton in rue Dansaert, which earned a three-star review in Agenda. In early June, La Belle Équipe in the same street and the Flamingo in rue de Laeken are scheduled to follow, and what is more, café sensation Frédéric Nicolay has announced two more new projects. Our colleagues at brusselnieuws.be found out that Nicolay has his sights set on the former Speedy-garage on place Saint-Lazare in Saint-Josse, an area that is developing fast, where he wants to open Café Brazil in early 2013. In a building on boulevard Waterloo, opposite his successful café Potemkine, Nicolay also wants to launch Bar Mobile, a café with a small van that drives around the city like an ice cream truck. Good times are on the horizon for barflies in Brussels!
