Moussem Cities, this year devoted to Casablanca, is going from strength to strength. Nomadic in nature, this multidisciplinary festival hosted by various cultural institutions in Brussels, now comes to Bozar with “Raw Poetry”. This little gem brings together artists from Casablanca’s young contemporary scene.

Three artists draw their creative energy from this seething, cosmopolitan city as they engage directly with its inhabitants. Through her photos and videos, Randa Maroufi explores the place of the body in both the public and private spheres. Mostafa Saifi Rahmouni reflects on the human condition, while Youssef Ouchra attacks the “performance” that is imposed on artists by the art market.
