In the 1990s, Algeria was ravaged by a war between the government and armed Islamist groups. But these days we hear little news from the country.

In this respect, the Cannes-selected film debut by Karim Moussaoui comes at the perfect time. Three stories that only intersect very briefly will take you on a journey across the country and all its social strata. Sober, classical, and very slow, but nevertheless an excellent, sensitive film debut with plenty of content.
