Fourteen years after the Pixar classic The Incredibles, Brad Bird has made a sequel.
Fourteen seconds of Incredibles 2 is more than enough to feel right back at home with the Parr family of super heroes. Daughter Violet, father Bob, baby Jack-Jack, and mother Helen take on supervillain Screenslaver, who subjugates people through their screen addiction. The moralism is not as extreme as it might sound. And Bird gives us plenty of action, humour, and recognizable emotion. The family film of the summer.
