Since 2010, Luis Vasquez has been purging his dark thoughts through the repertoire of The Soft Moon. Dancing maniacally on the ashes of Joy Division, the guitarist made three albums in California and New York. He now lives in Italy. In Venice, he began to contemplate the story of his life. Immersing himself in the dark side of his powers, the artist went to war with himself and recorded Criminal. Self-deprecating and electric, this latest album has shades of industrial post-punk. Terribly offensive, the new tracks by The Soft Moon blow Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails away, scrubbing out their legacy like sulfuric acid. Hold on tight!
