Party tip: Groovalicious 1st Anniversary

It’s often said that the world converges on Brussels. And that is as true as a holy cow. But besides living and working together, people wanted to party together some more too. This lacuna in the Brussels world market was filled last year in a remarkably tasteful manner by DJs Mukambo and Bruselo. For years, the two have been playing music from every corner of the globe. Brazilian beats go hand in hand with Afro-Latin, reggae, cumbia, Balkan, and hip hop. As long as it has a juicy groove that makes your hips move. Along with world DJ friends DJ Tudo, Jo Selector, Radio Martiko, and others, they have organised countless parties in the beautiful La Tentation. And the ninth edition will be an extra special birthday celebration, for which Groovalicious has invited DJ Panko. The Barcelona-based DJ became famous for blending his flamenco with breaks and beats as a member of Ojos de Brujo. These days, he steeps his music in all kinds of global influences, resulting in Remezcla Mundial, a collection of remixes he made for various artists. In the meantime, he also brought down the house at almost every major festival and party in the world, and will undoubtedly get everyone dancing at this birthday edition of Groovalicious. Or as they put it themselves: “getcha groove on”.
