Because Pride is about more than just confetti and feathers, RainbowHouse Brussels organizes a cultural programme every year that is geared to LGBT+ people and their friends. It ranges from lectures and parties to film screenings and exhibitions: anything and everything that is beautiful and pink gets showcased in the city.

And the festival looks beyond Brussels. We are looking forward to the documentaries about African LGBTs at the Massimadi festival (3 > 5/5), queer slam poetry with the Swedish-Danish Frej Haar (3/5), and a debate evening with the homosexual French-Moroccan author Abdellah Taïa at Bozar (8/5).

And because Pride wouldn’t be a party without beer, it will also be serving Belgium’s first queer beer (15/5) and the happy party people of Los Niños (19/5). The special Pride edition of our magazine will appear on 9 May. Pride on!
