Five-fingered flamenco festival

Flamenco, as true fans know, is more than just an art which is frozen by tradition. This year’s festival proves that in five days and in five themes.

First comes politics, with texts by great antifascist poets sung and danced by contemporary artists. Then, the flamenco scene in Brussels which, at one time, was livelier than the one in Seville. There will be a day devoted exclusively to female performers, with a remarkable meeting of Andalusian and Indian traditions. Then, the dynasties that pass flamenco, in its purest form, from generation to generation. And finally, a dose of flamenclown, to be enjoyed by the whole family.
