Oasis Belgium
Oasis Belgium is an NGO which has been offering help and support to victims of human trafficking in Belgium since 2007. In their latest fundraising attempt, called ‘In the Long Run’, volunteers are running 10km a day along the human trafficking route from Calcutta to Mumbai. Phil Lane, director of Oasis Belgium, explains more.

Europe in Brussels: Poland
11 November is Poland’s Independence Day. We meet members of the Polish expat community in Brussels.

Kevin the Carny
Kevin Van Doorslaer is from a Belgian carny family that goes back generations. He grew up on the road from town to town and then fortuitously ended up in New York where he was the first Belgian to graduate from The Neighborhood Playhouse. As an expat in New York and Los Angeles he worked in film and theatre before coming back to Belgium for a very personal project.
