Pimp My Street
Due to the city’s campaign to clean up and refurbish the Ilot Sacré neighborhood and eliminate the many tourist trap restaurants to make it a neighbourhood locals will frequent again as well as tourists, there are temporarily a few empty stores on the Petite Rue des Bouchers. So, for the Christmas season until 7 January, the city has spiffed up the storefronts and is proposing Pimp My Street: pop-up stores by Belgian designers, creators and artisans of watch design, jewellery, clothes, objects/accessories, chocolate, woodworking, contemporary art, furniture, graphic and craft design, photography and interior design. We speak with organiser Kunty Moureau and artisans Laurent Gerbaud, Dominique Gringoire, Siré Kaba, Margaux Baert and Jean-François Bodson.

Europe in Brussels: Romania
Since their country became an EU member in 2007, Romanians have become one of the most populous expat communities in Belgium. Ahead of their native land's national holiday on December 1, we find out more about the Romanian presence in Belgium.

Project Room at Galerie La Forest Divonne
It’s time once again for art gallery La Forest Divonne’s Project Room during which they showcase young emerging artists. Gallery owner Jean de Malherbe is a great talent scout and he is presenting a photographer duo Elsa & Johanna, visual artist Ola Lanko and painter Orsten Groom. Kaleidoscope until 6 December. Three of the artists tell us about their work.

Brussel's Turkish community
Our colleagues at Bruzz International TV show visit the Chaussée de Haecht in Schaerbeek to find out more about the city's Turkish community and to discuss Turkey's fraught relationship with the EU.
