A new mural for an international Brussels neighbourhood
Comic book artist Brecht Evens was chosen by Brussels to paint a very large mural nearby the Papenvest social housing buildings in central Brussels. It's a community of people from four continents and many of them were on hand when Brecht showed his model for the mural. Members of the neighbourhood were asked to review the drawing and make suggestions. Alderwoman Ans Persoons talked about the project and Brecht tells us what inspired him. He also spoke about his latest comic book Panther which is being published in English by Drawn & Quarterly.
