Nancy Kandala aka LysJoy: ‘When I make music, I feel exposed'

Nancy Kandala is originally from Congo. Her father is a prince of a Congolese tribe and she grew up in a very traditional family. Although she's an accountant by profession, she decided to devote her life to spiritual music after going through a difficult period in her life. She sings and translates all her songs into Lingala, one of the four official languages in Congo.
