Anaëlle Impe studied philosophy and Romanic language and literature. She wrote her PhD thesis on the use of puppets on contemporary western stages. Anaëlle is convinced that art and fiction enable us to understand, articulate and reinvent reality. "Why are puppets used instead of people? And what does that say about human beings? That is what appeals to me so much in this theme."
