The Brussels Studies Institute has created an online course on the history of Brussels: it is a 'MOOC' (Massive Open Online Course) that is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about the history and many facets of the region. And the pedestrian zone in the centre of Brussels plays an important role in this history.
