How do you portray an icon? Pablo Larraín tells us Jackie Kennedy's story in the days before and after the murder of President John F. Kennedy.

This allows him to show a range of emotions, but it is especially interesting when we see the Jackie who realises that she has the power to determine the traumatised nation's lasting perception of JFK.

Natalie Portman is phenomenal, Larraín employs all his cinematographic talent to present Jackie's world as he imagines it: part dream, part reality. Great!
