Film: La Fille de Brest

In a hospital in Brest, a dedicated lung specialist discovers that a trusted medicine has terrible side-effects.

With more hindrance than help from her colleagues and the drug control agencies, she combats the powerful pharma giant that makes huge profits from the product. Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen) is a definite asset in this dramatized reconstruction of the Mediator scandal. Unfortunately, however, we were unable to detect any hint of a cinematographic reason why you should see this film in the cinema.
