Leafing through Autumn Falls 4: Three Mile Pilot

It is difficult to believe that Three Mile Pilot debuted more than twenty years ago. The indie rockers from San Diego, California were to pave the way for the Black Heart Procession and Pinback, whose success has since far exceeded that of Three Mile Pilot. In 2009, the band left on tour again after ten years of inactivity. Old albums were rereleased and a year later, The Inevitable Past Is the Future Forgotten came along, which was influenced significantly by the band members’ different projects. Five new tracks from the EP Maps, which was released last summer, confirm that their energy levels are still up to speed, including the darker and more desolate minor tones.
