Shoshana Walfish is a Canadian oil painter who lives and works in Brussels. Her work focuses on themes such as identity, family, collective history, mental health and feminism, mainly through portraiture. Her style is influenced by the academic painters of the nineteenth century, but she takes a fresh approach.
