Alan Moore is without a doubt one of the best and most fascinating contemporary comics writers around. He might not like it, but we lost our hearts to Watchmen and V for Vendetta a long time ago. But also his work on From Hell (together with the incredible Eddie Campbell), Lost Girls (with Melinda Gebbie), and his cooperation with Kevin O'Neill on the series The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen have resulted in the famous mix of clever storytelling, nightmarish topics, fallible characters, doomed societies, dynamic visuals, and a plethora of cultural references.
