In "Open Spaces | Secret Places", 27 artists from the Viennese artists' collective SAMMLUNG VERBUND present an exhibition about the relationship between people and space.

Canadian artist and photographer Jeff Wall, for example, stages moments that he has experienced in everyday life and rebuilds them in the studio. Belgian artist Francis Alÿs is inspired by everyday life in the city, and each piece starts from his own location: be it Mexico City, Saint Petersburg, or Kabul. American artist and photographer Louise Lawler takes us behind the scenes of the art world, to places like Art Basel or the Christie's auction house. The artists take you to unknown places, or to places that you will discover in a new way, and their photos function primarily as a medium.
