The Egmont Palace on the Kleine Zavel/Petit Sablon, whose fancy interior is the home of external affairs, is the glorious setting for an exhibition that would not otherwise be accustomed to such majestic surroundings.

Didier Reynders – a self-professed big fan of street art...or was it street cred? – has invited seven Belgian street artists and collectives for a colourful attack on the courtyard, the car park, the hall, as well as the walls and mirrors of the sixteenth-century palace. Among others doing their diplomatic bit are Sara Conti and her famous paper collages, ceramists Mon Colonel & Spit from Alice Gallery, Frédéric "Rec" Platéus, ironic paint spiller El Nino 76, and Reset'81 who contributes two wonderfully ephemeral pieces. Street diplomacy!
