Bozar Cinema will be sparing no expense for a number of prominent guests this month. This Saturday, 5 October, they are rolling out the red carpet for the Belgian photographers Jimmy Kets and Carl De Keyzer. Kets followed Magnum photographer De Keyzer for a year during the shoot of his latest project Moments Before the Flood, and came back with the revealing documentary OdysSea.
On 18 October, Jonas Mekas, the godfather of American avant-garde cinema will be visiting to open the retrospective of his work at Cinematek and the exhibition devoted to his oeuvre at Bozar (more details to follow in our edition on 16 October). Finally, on 21 October, New Hollywood veteran Michael Cimino is coming to introduce a restored copy of his controversial western Heaven’s Gate (see also agendamagazine.be/en/blog/michael-cimino-bozar).
