Does the smell of white spirit, methylated spirits, and gasoline wistfully take you back to your pyromaniac youth? If so, this highly flammable call is definitely for you: as part of Festival Kanal Play Ground, you can start an artistic fire with Pieter Van den Bosch for his performance Aanslagen zonder gevolgen – Variation#2/ethanol (“Attacks Without Consequences – Variation#2/Ethanol”) on 19 September. Participants will be challenged to “approximate the physical reality of fire as much as possible”. The video recordings of the performance will later be screened at an exhibition at the Kaaitheater.
