CITY:LAND is the Kaaitheater’s new city festival. The location of this first edition during the week before the local elections is Munt/place de la Monnaie: once a turbulent place in Belgian history, now a crossroads of diverse mercantile, social, and cultural interaction.
CITY:LAND is the Kaaitheater's new city festival
There will be performances, installations, and exhibitions both during the day and in the evening. Such as the broadcast tower of Kevin Trappeniers, Anne Collod’s march, and Ant Hampton’s performance in the entrance hall of De Munt/La Monnaie. Or the security cameras of Sarah van Lamsweerde, the new film by Sarah Vanagt, and the multifunctional city lab Precarious Pavilions #2 by Michiel Vandevelde and architects’ collective 431. And all totally free.
