Brussels Gallery Weekend: the city is a museum
In keeping with their tradition, more than 30 galleries and non-profit spaces are joining forces to kick off the new gallery season festively and especially also to underscore Brussels’s newly acquired status as a booming city of contemporary art. The project has been renamed, but the format is the same: over a long weekend, the participants are holding an open house where you can discover new shows, talks, and curatorial tours. Like walking through a giant, dispersed museum, guest curator Matteo Lucchetti would say.
