Molenbike: Molenbeek pumps its pedals

Drivers who tear through red lights, steep hills, bumpy cobblestones… Nothing can stop Brussels bike lovers from mounting their trusty metal steeds.

In Molenbike, ten Brussels organisations are celebrating the love for bicycles with two colourful bike trails, bike repair workshops, a lunch, and an aperitif. The first bike tour starts at 11.30 am and goes through Molenbeek. After a lunch in the Maritime community centre, the second tour starts at 2.15 pm. After thirty kilometres through the Green Belt, there will be cold drinks waiting in Molenbeek, in the park behind the Church of Saint Remi.
