Overtoon, Brussels’s cutting-edge platform directed by Aernoudt Jacobs and Christoph De Boeck, has for years now conducted penetrating research into sound art.

The Centrale for Contemporary Art gave it carte blanche to organise a group exhibition that asks the question “Where are sounds and where do they go?” The intriguing and multifaceted answer comes from sixteen national and international artists – including Rolf Julius, Yann Leguay, Lawrence Malstaf, Floris Vanhoof, and Katerina Undo – who offer a unique experience that blends sights and sounds. Synaesthesia for listening bodies.
