From 8 to 16 June, Flagey and Bozar will be hosting the tenth edition of the Brussels Film Festival. And 2012 promises to be a grand edition! There are 4 open-air screenings near Flagey (Les Géants, Hasta la Vista, Le Golem, and Le prisonnier), a competition of 12 European films (to be judged by a jury presided by director Peter Greenaway), 15 films in the Panorama category, 12 short films, previews and special screenings. Next to the 50 films being shown, the Brussels Film Festival will also be organising workshops with three internationally renowned artists - producer Peter Aalbæk Jensen, composer Jean-Michel Bernard, and Peter Greenaway - and an impressive nightly celebration of its tenth anniversary.
Faouzi Bensaïdi's Death For Sale (7 pm, Flagey 5) and Woody Allen's To Rome With Love (8.30 pm, Flagey 4) will be shown, as well as two very interesting music documentaries. The Libertines: There Are No Innocent Bystanders (7 pm, Flagey 1) is an engaging film by photographer turned filmmaker Roger Sargent, and offers an intimate look at one of the most influential groups of its generation. Shut Up And Play The Hits (by Will Lovelace & Dylan Southern - 8.30 pm, Flagey 1) shows the legendary LCD Soundsystem play their final show at Madison Square Garden.
At 11 pm the American electro pop band Chromatics will be playing live, and to bring the evening to a long-stretched close, Carl Barât, singer, guitarist and founder of The Libertines, and American poet, writer, actor and musician Saul Williams will both be playing a DJ set (midnight, Flagey Foyer 1).

9/6, 19 > 4.00, €10 (4 films, 1 concert, 2 DJs), www.brff.be
