Grace, who grew up in poverty, discovers during her wedding night that her immensely rich family-in-law practices a very strange ritual: they thank their fortune to party games in which the bride is invited to take part.
The problem for Grace is that this is a particularly bloody version of hide and seek. The jump scares don’t all hit the spot, but the atmosphere and the balance between horror and comedy is very good. Neither the rich nor the institution of marriage are spared, and that serves the entertainment value very well.
