Space, the final frontier

Over a year ago, Invader took his videogame-inspired art made up of small mosaic tiles to Brussels on the occasion of an exhibition at Alice Gallery. On Monday 24 June, the French urban artist will return to the city for the screening of his 25-minute-long documentary on Space One, the mosaic he launched into the stratosphere on 20 August 2012 off the coast of Florida. Space One is exactly that: the first work of art to be sent out into space. Cinéma Galeries will be hosting the screening of the Art4Space video at 8 pm, the artist himself will do the honours of presenting the film. The stratosphere, the final frontier to become a true Space Invader!
