The Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, and his book Delirious New York, was a source of inspiration for Glasser’s second album.

Interiors electro (True Panther)

It is no coincidence that the city that packs hordes of people and skyscrapers into a few square kilometres and can be terribly lonely, recently became singer Cameron Mesirow’s hometown. The theoretical foundation of Interiors is very solid. It’s elaboration in songs like “Shape”, “Design”, and “Landscape” is more abstract than on Ring, Glasser’s debut. Yes, there are real drums, choirs, winds, and strings concealed among the stoic, pre-programmed rhythms, but Mesirow intentionally keeps the difference between artificial and organic material vague. Sometimes her approach works, but occasionally it’s impossible to shake off the impression that there is not enough warmth to make her house a home. Fortunately there is still her glowing voice, which sometimes comes terrifyingly close to Björk’s timbre.
