Party Tip: Leftorium

Last year, we went wild for Mark E’s set at the Open the Box party in Mr. Wong. Everything the DJ and musician from Birmingham makes is suffused with slow, dirty disco grooves that are so addictive that they keep playing through your mind the whole day after the party. The news that the master of house is returning, immediately made us very happy. He will have a companion behind the turntables, and one who has been hyped incredibly over the past few years: Dyed Soundorom. The Parisian began his career at after parties in a local club. Now he plays huge nightclubs like Fabric in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin, Womb in Tokyo, and Circoloco in Ibiza. The music he plays can perhaps best be described as minimalist deep house with a rake funk groove and hypnotic rhythms and melodies. And though on photos he looks like he’s suffering from depression, he actually has enormous zest for life and likes to radiate it to a partying crowd.
As a little bonus, FM Brussel is also providing its own room. You’ll know DJs Rim-K from Soundtraffic and Sofie from L-Fêtes as the Saturday evening composers on 98.8. They’ll be visited by Walrus (Vicuna, 54Kolaktiv, Bepotel) and Handless DJ (High Needs Low). In other words, the highest quality pumping beats, all night long!
