There is something really enchanting about a club in the middle of a wood. But that’s not the only reason The Wood has worked its way up to become one of Brussels’s best clubs. They manage to present a great, varied programme with different weekly concepts, often attracting international DJs to Belgium. Many of the DJs are from Berlin, a veritable playground for fans of house, tech house, and minimal. The quality of the German capital’s parties and clubs is extremely high. Indeed, a good party requires more than just a popular DJ. The atmosphere, sound installation, and staff all play an important role. This has clearly inspired the organisers of the Wild concept. According to them, The Wood was a total revelation. So now you know that the music on Friday evening will come from the loftiest heights. The DJ duo Slick ‘n’ Dear, who invented the party concept, will also be putting talented DJs who are perhaps not very famous but have a really interesting musical story at the turntables. They’re all people who passionately look for amazing records and love being able to share them with their audiences.
