Brazilian forró craze meets surrealist Belgian groove: that is the essence of Anavantou!, an encounter between musicians from Aracaju in north-eastern Brazil and the flipped folk band Turdus Philomelos.

After several exchanges in Brazil and Belgium, the band is now releasing its debut Brincantes, a delicious mix of music from the nordeste (forró, maracatu, pifano, embolada) and European folk, ska, reggae, klezmer, and swing, performed with infectious humour.
