Music: Les Muffatti

There are some companies that always stay within the safe confines of the well-known – Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos.

And then there are the ones that are adventurous, root around, rummage, and search. The Brussels-based Les Muffatti, named after the intriguing composer Georg Muffat (1653-1704), definitely belongs in the second category. And, granted, they are not strangers to a certain urge to proselytise. In this concert, they will showcase the exciting, danceable music of Telemann and Graupner.
