In this new work of fiction, the political activist who has supported both Edward Snowden and the Maoist rebels in the jungle displays another side of her talent and her sensibility. Searching for joy and enchantment in places that are surrounded by sadness and in the unpredictability of things is, for her, another way of being politically involved.
