Wanted: Taboo Breakers

Brussels-based choreographer Arco Renz, known among other things for the production Crack with Cambodian dancers, is organising auditions for his new production Taburopa on 26 and 27 April. It is an extremely ambitious project in which workshops, lectures, and productions organised in four countries – Belgium, Germany, Poland, and Portugal – will research the cultural, historical, and everyday significance of taboos in these countries. The rehearsals and performances will take place both in Brussels and Cologne, where the production will première on 13 May 2014.
