Lee Fields & The Expressions: stay on the scene
His first single “Bewildered” dates from 1969 and he has been active ever since, even though Little JB never became as successful as the great James Brown.
He has always been proud of that nickname, however, because he is not only physically similar to the late hardest working man in show business.
Backed up by The Expressions, the house band of his record label Truth & Soul, his vocal brilliance sometimes also comes remarkably close to that of the godfather.
