Drilling tests for the new subway: We're trying to find the best route'

In 17 different places in Evere en Schaarbeek, drilling tests have been carried out to determine if the underground is stable enough for a subway tunnel. By 2024, the Brussels Region would like to open a line between Albertplein in Vorst and Bordet station in Evere. This type of drilling is meant to avoid bad surprises during the actual works.
