Danial Shah has been living in Belgium continuously for three years to work on his artistic doctorate on photo studios in Pakistan. He also tells us about his film Make It Look Real—with which he recently won the jury prize at Festival En Ville—and Coloniser to Colonised, a journey he undertook from London to Quetta and captured on Instagram. "How do we look at the world when it comes to freedom of movement? It's a privilege when people can say: I made a solo trip from Belgium to India when I was 20."
