Het Huis van de Architect (10): 'Our vision has evolved with the process'

In Goedele Desmet's imagination an eyesore on the small ring got a new life. The overgrown building could make way for a co-housing project. With a lot of enthusiasm and goodwill from the municipality, the Region and the contractor, the task was started. On the foundations of an old goldsmith's forge, 16 housing units appeared, and her architectural firm was also given a place there.
